1. Get the walls of divine defence for your life (daily pray for the walls
of angels to surround you, walls of His shadow to surround you, walls of the
blood of Jesus to surround you).

WHAT THE YEAR 2007 HOLDS PROPHETICALLY
1. It is a year of assorted rages (vultures - bird of death; computer
destroying human beings; mysterious violent; pollution and poisons; mysterious
controversies; water and land; marriage destruction; unexplainable confusion).
2. It is a year that will run like a film show.
3. It will be a year of the wound that refuses to heal; and a small tree
that becomes big.
4. It is a year of very strange friends (Judas, etc).
5. This is a year where we need serious prayers to avert evils (who should
die for peace to reign shall die)
6. This will be a year of deliverance of many from great afflictions.
7. This will be a year to become God's friends like Moses and Abraham.
8. It will be a year of clash of weapons and arms.
9. It will be a year of great shaking nationally and internationally.
10. It is a year of revival and uncommon outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
11. It is a year where God will cause His faithful children to move to rise
on the high places.
12. This year, many thrones of iniquity shall be turned over.
13. God will shake loose wicked structures all over the world.
14. Night watches will yield dividends to Prayer Warriors this year.
15. Many long-term tests and trials will produce uncommon testimonies.
16. Divine weapons for divine judgment will begin to take aggressive action
on earth.
17. The Lord will begin to balance His scale and His judgment will begin to
manifest.
18. It is a year the believers will take back what the enemies have stolen.
19. It is a year of holy confrontation.
20. It is a year of unbelievable seduction.
21. It will be a year of divine surprises (particularly on the political
scene)
22. This will be a year of transfer of wealth for the advancement of the
Gospel.
23. It is a year of microphone.
24. A year of positive and negative exclamation.
25. A year of disgrace for those mixing witchcraft with Christianity.
26. A year of strange political-bed-fellows.
27. Those going to the grave to receive powers to fight the believers shall
not return.
28. A year of disgrace for children killers and those committing abortions.
29. A year of divine compensation for God's children.
30. This is a year of momentum failure for those who trust in satanic
powers.
31. If you want you business to prosper this year, let it be founded on
integrity.
32. The enemy has devised a new device.
33. A year of brainwashing.
34. Any political plan or scheme that are not in
line with the mind of God, will collapse.

The Prophetic Picture of
the Year 2006.
2006 - Our Year of
Overcoming Laughter & Enlargement Breakthroughs; Ps2:4;
Ps 71:21; Eph.3:20

The year 2005 was a year of serious rage
of the enemy. There was rage in the waters, land and the
skies. There was rage by fire and wind. It was a terrible year of wastage
of lives, properties and other resources. Unfortunately, the word given by the
Lord for last year is still valid for this year. And unless there is consistent
and serious prayers this year, last year’s occurrences would be like a child’s
play compared to what the enemy is planning to do this year.
The year 2006
is practically a year of twenty-five things but I will talk about only
twenty-three in this message:
1. It shall be a year of mysterious
conflicts. There would be unexplainable conflicts; nobody will know the cause
and how they started.
2. There shall be strange
appearances to men from the spirit realm. Those who are fond of attending night
parties and roaming the streets at night will be in for a special surprise if
they do not stop.
3. It shall be a year of the fight of
the he-goat and the she-goat. And those around the he-goat and the she-goat
will suffer.
4. It shall be a year of plenty of
strange occurrences that will stupefy people.
5. Any peace-loving government must
make conscious effort to invest in prayers this year. The Lord has a
controversy with the nations of the world, and these nations are doing many
things, which are not pleasing to the Almighty God. All the natural disasters
that occurred last year was a proof that indeed man is
powerless. There is no science or human intelligence that can arrest natural
disasters. All that the elements need is a command from heaven to move and they
will promptly obey; they cannot be stopped by any human effort.
6. It shall be a year of unbelievable
surprises.
7. It shall be a
year of disunity amongst people, even those from the same clan, tribe, town,
etc.
8. Prayerless
politicians and government officials will by themselves cause their removal
from office this year.
9. This year, the secret behind
spiritual and physical terrorism that harassed many people will be revealed.
Secrets that some people believed would never be exposed would be revealed.
10. This year, the powers of the heavenly
shall be thoroughly shaken up. So, you need to soak yourself in prayers.
11. It shall be a year of strange suicide
cases. People, whom no one believed could do such a thing would go ahead and
take their own lives.
12. It shall be a year of increased attack
on people’s brains. There will be a lot of cases of insanity, unless arrested
by prayers.
13. This year, the heavens shall wage war
against the mighty and the wicked. It shall be a very bad year for wicked men
unless they repent.
14. There shall be a divine
defence of the poor, widows and the fatherless. Anyone who participates in cheating these groups of people will end up
in tragedy.
15. It shall be a year the nakedness of many
kings, that is, rulers shall be uncovered.
16. It shall be a year that all the enemies
of Nigeria
shall be in serious trouble.
17. It shall be a year of massive failure of
occult powers. Those who believe in them shall experience failure and disgrace.
It is only the power of God that cannot fail or be disgraced.
18. It shall be a year many great and new
things will begin to happen in the lives of children of God who worship Him in
spirit and in truth.
19. It shall be a year God will teach the
hands of many of His children to prosper. And those who have been using evil
tongues to arrest their prosperity shall be arrested.
20. It shall be a year of miraculous
intervention for God’s children. Seemingly impossible cases and situations
shall receive divine intervention.
21. It shall be a year of super abundance
for those who are not stingy with God. Those who are stingy with God, even what
they have shall be taken away from them since they are not utilizing it well.
22. It shall be a year of the beginning of a
new era and a new order.
23. It shall be a year of
accumulation of good things, advancement, strength and power for children of
God who worship Him in spirit and in truth.

The Lord has given three
scriptures to the members of Mountain
of Fire and Miracles
Ministries for this year. These scriptures shall be their watchword for the
year 2006.
They are:
a. Psalm 2:4: “He that
sitteth in the heaven shall laugh the Lord shall have
them in derision.”
b. Psalm 71:21: “Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.”
c. Ephesians 3:20: “Now
unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or
think, according to the power that worketh in us.” I
encourage you to memorise these scriptures.
So, for the members of Mountain
of Fire and Miracles
Ministries, it is a year of, “Overcoming
laughter and enlargement breakthroughs.” It is a year that the
children of God will laugh their enemies to scorn. Please, take notice that any
prophecy given that is totally devoid of a way out of mercy, is unlikely to
have come from the Almighty God. Therefore, God has strategies for success this
year.
STRATEGIES
FOR SUCCESS THIS YEAR
1. You must break free from every ungodly thought pattern of the past.
The Bible says that as a man thinketh in his heart so
is he (Proverbs 23:7).
2. Do not blame others for your failure. If somebody is attacked, and
he feels it, the first thing he should do is to find out why the attack was
able to penetrate his body, and not to blame those who are firing the arrow.
3. This year focus on God and His unfailing promises. Remove your focus
from men, prophets or men of God. Don’t go to church to play politics but go
there to look for God.
4. Do not nurse your problems but nail them to the cross. Don’t
fertilize them.
5. Do not embrace your curse but curse your curse.
6. Ensure that this year, you are always in the right company. If
you go to the wrong company upon which God has ordained destruction, you will
be affected. For example, if a first born of an Israelite was in the house of
an Egyptian the day God asked the Israelites to apply blood on their
door-posts, he would die because the angel assigned with that responsibility was
not interested in who was inside.
7. Crucify your flesh this year. Do not yield to the commandments of
the flesh.
8. This year, make Christ your model and
leader. If you are in a position and need to take a decision, the first
question to ask yourself is, “What would Jesus do if
He was in my shoes now?”
9. Obey God’s word completely this year
10. Live by faith and grow in faith.
These are the strategies for success this year. If you follow these
strategies strictly, it shall be a year of bigger testimonies for you.
PRAYER POINTS
Breakthrough
prayer for this year.
There are at least 3500 miracles
attached to each of these prayer points, therefore, I encourage you to pray
them aggressively.
1. O God, arise and connect me with
people that matter this year, in the name of Jesus.
2. Every arrow of infirmity, my life is
not your candidate, therefore, die, in the name of Jesus.
3. My leg, hear the word of the Lord,
carry me to my place of destiny
this year, in the name of Jesus.
4. My body, reject every arrow of death,
in the name of Jesus.
5. This year, I will get to the right
position, in the name of Jesus.
6. O God, arise, bless those that bless
me, and curse those that curse me, in the name of Jesus.
7. This year, the storms of life will
not sweep me away, in the name of Jesus.
8. This year, my enemy shall hear of me
and tremble, in the name of Jesus.
9. I declare that all my journey this
year shall be safe, in the name of Jesus.
10. Every grave dug
for me this year shall scatter, in the name of Jesus.
11. Every financial
grave dug for me this year shall scatter, in the name of Jesus.

assigned to waste my life, you are liar, die, in the name of Jesus.

put me in your envelope of fire, in the name of Jesus.
14. O God, arise and
let my story change, in the name of Jesus.

let my Goliath die, in the name of Jesus.
Year 2005,
the upper room experience.

This year is
a very interesting one for both believers and unbelievers. The scene at the
upper room in the book of Acts of the Apostles paints a good picture of the
year 2005 AD. At that time, some of the people rushed there because they found
that they did not have sufficient power to cope with the world in which they
were living. They needed the anointing that could not be confronted or pulled
down. The Bible says that they were gathered in that upper chamber in one
accord and suddenly, there came a sound as of a rushing mighty wind and it
filled the house where they were.
Part of the picture God gave to us concerning last year
was the rage of the waters. Unfortunately, we found the manifestation of that
sad aspect happening in Asia. The incident in Thailand, Sri Lanka, etc
recently makes it very clear to us that man is completely powerless and
helpless before God. If you find God, you find life, and if you do not find God,
you do not have life.
Prophetically, Year 2005 can be called the upper
room year. It would be characterized by 32 things:
1. Globally, there shall be
a lot of political disappointment and prayerless politicians will find themselves
in a very big trouble.
2. There shall be a war of
contradiction and even after the fight has ended, those involved will not
understand why they were fighting.
3. Kidnappers and ritual
killers shall be disgraced.
4. There shall be events
that would shake the foundation of many nations.
5. It shall be a year of
mystery. The Lord said that many unexplainable things would happen.
6. It shall be a year of very
strange occurrences.
7. It shall be a year of the
humbled and the humiliated. A lot of people who never thought that they
could find themselves in one position would find themselves there.
8. It shall be a year of very
strange and powerful miracles.
9. It shall be a year of very
powerful manifestation of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, it is a year that you do
not only have to double your prayer, but do it seven-fold.
10. The Lord said unless arrested by prayers,
it is a year of terrible decay among the youth, meaning that the powers of the
oppressors have planned to waste many young people this year. We need to pray
this year.
11. It is a year we need more prayers of
intercession to prevent colossal natural disasters. Men and women are taking
the Almighty for granted but very soon the Almighty will blow His final
whistle, and they will find that everything they have struggled for is raw
material for fire.
12. It shall be a year of disgrace for
disloyalty and conspiracy. Therefore, don’t get involved in conspiracy or
disloyalty wherever you are, and whoever you are working for this year.
13. The Lord said that a strange spirit
of suicide would be poured out and unless arrested by prayers, it will happen
in very strange places.
14. The Lord said that unless we pray very
well, the poor would still get poorer.
15. There will be an alarming rage of the
spirit of fear and witchcraft internationally.
16. It will be a wonderful year for those who
are seeking marital breakthroughs.
17. There will be what can be described as
global confusion and bewitchment in many places.
18. We need to pray against strange winds
that will sweep away many things.
19. Some wicked and horrible idols and
shrines whose powers have been buried by the missionaries will resume their
activities in many places due to terrible personal and community sins.
20. Special prayers should be said for
oil producing areas because there is conspiracy against them in the heavenlies
by the powers of darkness.
21. The Lord said He would use foolish
things to confound the wise this year.
22. This is a year when you must get your
priorities right. If you do, you will rejoice but there will be serious trouble
if you get them wrong.
23. Spiritual power is a necessity in
this particular year because powerlessness will certainly lead to destruction.
Do whatever you need to do this year to get the power of God into your life,
because all the beggarly power that some people are using will fail them in a
terrible way.
24. It will be a terrible year for all thieves,
whether they are stealing from their friends, community, or
nations.
25. The arrows of the wicked, which the Bible
says shall wax stronger and stronger shall strike at
an alarming rate this year.
26. There will be public exposure of many
hidden atrocities that have been buried before now.
27. The Lord said that problems linked with
food would cause destruction in many places this year.
28. The Lord said that long term houses
of bondage would be dismantled suddenly.
29. There will be a powerful outpouring of
God’s power on those who are honestly and sincerely seeking His face.
30. It shall be a rewarding year for those
who practice their regular fasting and prayer.
31. This is a year when we must pray and also
take action so that we don’t compromise our unity, and there will be no chaos.
32. It is a year of expectancy and
fulfillment.
The Lord said that this year, you should expect the
impossible to become possible, difficult situations to turn around, uncommon
promotion to come, your antagonists to become your agents of promotion, riches
and honour to flow to you from unsolicited sources, any failure or defeat to
turn to success, and the Almighty to over-answer your prayer. This in a
nutshell is a picture of the year.
STRATEGY
FORSUCCESS THIS YEAR
The strategy for success this year is that of the upper
room experience. It is the strategy that brings down the power and fire of God,
meaning that fire is the answer to many situations that will confront us this
year. In the Bible, God released fire to consume the wicked, to empower His
people, and to consume sacrifices. This year is an upper room year where only
the genuine power of God will uphold people. All the beggarly powers will face
their owners. The principal weapon we need to deal with spiritual enemies
that will come up this year is fire. Fire is powerful in movement. Fire is very
aggressive. Fire is very militant, and has no respect. We need to get ourselves
to the level, where the fire of God will be operating in our lives always.
Acts of Apostles chapter 1 verse 8 says, “But
ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye
shall become witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem,
and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the
earth.” So, this year, make sure your stance with God is right. Make
sure you fulfill the conditions for the power of God to come into your life. If
you have been depending on beggarly powers, you better throw them away and look
for the genuine one, and then, the Lord will be able to help you.
For the members of Mountain of Fire
and Miracles Ministries, the Lord said it is a year of three Ps: the year of
Power, Perfection and overflowing Progress; power that cannot be contested,
perfection of everything that concerns you and overflowing progress. This is
according to what is written in Psalm 138 verse 8 which says, “The Lord
will perfect that which concerneth thee...” And as we can see in Acts
of the Apostles 1 verse 8, it is our year of demonstration of power that no
enemy can insult.
PRAYER POINTS
1. Power of God that cannot be
insulted by any power of darkness, come upon me now, in the name of Jesus.
2. Anywhere I go this year, when
I walk in, darkness shall walk out, in the name of Jesus.
DEVIL'S FIRST SERMON

Genesis 3: 1 – 6 says, “Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast
of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea hath
God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the
garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may
eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden. But of the fruit of the tree which
is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall
not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said
unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die. For God doth
know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye
shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree
was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be
desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave
also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.”
The serpent was a preacher and Eve was the listener. A careful study of
the Bible reveals that the serpent was beautiful and graceful. A lot of people
do not have the right idea about what the devil looks like. They think that the
devil is ugly, short, dark, looking fearful and terrible. The serpent was subtle,
that is, it was hardly noticeable, clever, cunning, full of guile and highly
fascinating. From Genesis 3: 14, we know that the serpent used to walk upright,
otherwise the curse that it would be crawling on its belly would not be
meaningful. He was wise. Even Jesus Himself says we should be as wise as
serpent.
What was the method that the serpent used on Eve? The method was
temptation. He put a question mark on what God has said. The last sentence in
Genesis 3:1 says, “And he said unto the woman, Yea hath
God said ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?”
He misquoted the Scriptures intentionally. In order to arrest it, Eve
said unto the serpent in verses 2-3, “We may eat of the fruit of the trees of
the garden. But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden,
God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall
ye touch it, lest ye die.” In Genesis 2: 16-17, we see the correct thing that
God said: “And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of
every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat. But of the tree of the
knowledge of good and evil, thou shall not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” But Eve misquoted
that Scripture. She added, “Neither shall ye touch it.”
When God’s word is doubted, it leads to sin. God said they shall die and
the serpent in chapter 3 verse 4 said, “Ye shall not surely die,” and then
trouble started. He showed it to Eve, and it was appealing to her. She said it
was good for food, it was good for the eye and it was to make people wise. So,
she went ahead and ate it.
In his message, satan instigated Adam and Eve
to become disobedient. He made them to doubt God’s words. He made them to
question the goodness of God. He made the fruit to appeal to their eyes and appetite
and gave them the idea that it could give them wisdom and they listened to the
voice of their enemy.
Why are we going back to this basis? It is because the enemy’s method
for derailing men and women and for dribbling them out of God’s will has not
changed. It is the same old method. It is the same old serpent. He still uses
the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life.
When the devil came to Jesus to tempt Him too, he used the same method.
He told Him to convert stones to bread. There we see appetite. Then he showed
Him the kingdoms of the world; again the lust of the eyes. Also, he asked Him
to jump from the pinnacle of the temple - pride of life.
The question is, when the devil comes to you does he fail or succeed?
The more the success of the enemy in a persons’s
life, the closer the person is to hell fire. The more the failure of the enemy
in a person’s life, the closer to God he comes. If you want to know God
intimately, then the enemy has to record failure in your life. But if the enemy
is succeeding, like the devil succeeded in the lives of Adam and Eve, then you
are getting farther and farther from God.
It is a wonder of wonders that these days, the created one is
challenging the Creator. The clay is inviting the porter to a boxing match. The
dry leaf is changelling the whirlwind. The one whose
breath was given to him is busy challenging the One who gave him the breath.
People are using the understanding and wisdom that God has given to them to
fight God. That is why the Bible says, “Why do the nations so furiously rage
together and the people imagine a vain thing?” Why should people be trying to
fight against God with what He has given to them? They are still listening to
satanic sermons. The speech of Gamaliel comes to mind
these days. He told the council that wanted to kill the apostles to let them go
just in case what they were doing was of God, so that they would not find
themselves fighting against God. And they listened to him and let the apostles
go.
What are we saying? No one can fight against God and prosper. No one can
fight against God and succeed. Eve made a lot of mistakes and many people are
repeating the same mistakes today.
THE MISTAKES OF EVE
1. She thought that everything nice to the eyes was good. It is commonly
said that all that glitter is not gold. The fact that something is beautiful
does not mean it is right. The Bible says that there is a way that seems right
unto men but the end thereof is death.
2. She thought that she knew better than God. God said, “Don’t eat, if
you eat, you will die.” But she said, “I will eat it.” And we see what happened
to her.
3. She too, had an ambition to become like God.
4. She sought for the wisdom she did not need. Sometimes, a person can be
over- clever and would over-cleverly play himself into destruction.
5. Eve moved too close to what she should have abandoned. When the Lord
said, “Don’t touch this thing, the attitude of anybody who fears God should be
to run away from that thing. The Bible says, “Flee from all appearances of
evil.”
6. Eve chose to believe the serpent rather than believe God. When a
person chooses to believe the devil instead of God, problems happen.
THE MISTAKES OF ADAM
Adam also made many mistakes. And many people are still making these
mistakes today.
1. He gave his wife an autonomy that should not have been given to her.
He asked his wife, “Where did you get this from?” She said, “It is that thing
that God said we should not eat. Take and eat,” and he ate.
2. He abandoned his God’s given role of leadership. There are many men
like that. They cannot lead at the family altar. They would say, “Madam, you
pray and I will pray after you. But make it brief.” All they are interested in
is going about with their worldly friends. On Sundays, they pretend to be holy
but they are something else. Some of these people go to church on Sundays
because they are afraid that witches would eat them up. But during the week
they do as they like with their time. They have no time for fasting or any
spiritual thing. It is madam that should fast and pray and do everything. Such
men are abandoning their God-given role as priests in the house. They will be
held responsible for it. This is very important.
3. Adam yielded to his wife’s offer without confronting her with what
the Lord has said.
4. He obeyed his wife rather than God.
5. He blamed God instead of crying for repentance.
These are the mistakes of people who listen to satanic sermons. I think
the devil is the best lecturer. He can coach people very well. It would be very
sad for people who come to the house of God, come to services and listen to the
word of God, to be called the enemies of God by God Himself, at the end of the
day. The Bible says that some Christians are carnal.
It is just a way of saying that some Christians will go to hell fire from the
church. Many people are actively pitching their tents against God and some are
unconsciously battling against God. God has given them brain and intelligence but
they are using it to fight Him. They turn the Bible upside down and quote what
suits them. When they want to commit sin, they quote David’s many wives, when
they want to tell lies, they would say, “After all Abraham said Sarah was not
his wife.” They turn the Bible upside down. They use their brain to work
against God.
You cannot outsmart God. Your education is meant to be used to serve the
Lord and not to turn yourself into a clever devil. Instead of striving towards
holiness, some would say, “But the Bible says that we are not perfect.” They
always look for a way to wriggle out, instead of facing the reality. If you
tell them that they need to be broken, they would say, “Everybody needs to be
broken.” With things like this, they use their brain against the Lord. They
wage war against the Lord of hosts.
May be as you are reading this bulletin, you have been listening to
satanic sermon, you need to close your ears to it
henceforth for it is a path of destruction. If you want to academically excuse
yourself from sin, you are an academic sinner. You better repent now. If you
did not do something and you said you did, you are a sinner and God sees you.
You cannot bribe God with activities after you have committed atrocities. He
would prefer that you sort yourself out and then come back and serve Him.
If you are enticing men and women, you are fighting against God. You are
misusing your body and talents. Many people are using the beauty of what God has
given to them to fight against God. A time will come when everything we are
putting together shall become raw materials for fire. Very soon, the faces that
are being used to seduce people will become wrinkled. That is, if the people do
not die before they become wrinkled and nobody will be interested in looking at
the faces again. We must not use what God has given to us against Him.
God gave us a gift of free will and a lot of people are using it against
Him. They do what their mind tells them and not what the Holy Spirit says. They
do not care whether God is happy or not. They even ridicule the things of God.
They kick their conscience to a corner. They would say, “Well, don’t worry, it is okay since I don’t feel bad about it.” Such
people are still listening to satanic sermons. Some use their wealth against
the Lord. They cheat and oppress the poor. They boast and reject God. They use
their money to promote anti-God programmes. Some run after money and totally
forget to seek the Lord. Then they use the money to finance charms and demonic
interest. They would say, “I am not interested in serving your idols but you
take this money and buy my own goat.” They are using their money to finance the
devil. Some people were steadfast when they were poor but now that they are
rich, they refuse to become steadfast. Some even disappear from the church
after receiving financial breakthrough, only to come back when something goes
wrong again. The question is, “Who do they think they are deceiving?” Some
people spend their money buying useless things. Some use their talents against
the Lord. They have a very good voice but they are serving the devil with it.
They use their talent to further the kingdom of Babylon.
They speak eloquently against God. These are the people listening to satanic
sermons. A day is coming when the judgment of God would come upon His enemies.
A lot of people are secretly committing sin. Many Christians are guilty
of this. They wear the garb of Christianity, but secretly, they are obeying the
voice of the enemy. Please pray like this: “I refuse to listen to any satanic
message, in the name of Jesus.”
What is the result of this satanic message which is still with us now?
Man was turned into sin by his enemy. God therefore issued curses on him
and all that are committing sin, whether secretly or openly, they come under
the curse of the Almighty. That was why Jesus had to come. The serpent too was
cursed. It was changed from the most subtle and beautiful creature to the
lowest and most despised. It crawls on its belly. The devil too was cursed. He
lost his dominion and authority. The woman too was cursed. Hers was the most
painful and the most humiliating of them all. God said, “You will surely
multiply, but delivery will be in pain."
Man too, was cursed. He has to earn his living by toil and sweat
physically and spiritually. Even creation was cursed. The ground would from now
bring out thorns and bristles. The atmosphere was not left out. Germs,
diseases, shame and fear came in. Then to make it worst, spiritual death came
in.
Because somebody paid attention to what the enemy said and followed his
instruction, look at what has happened. That is why I often say that secret sin
must be killed and not allowed to grow. Until the issue of sin is dealt with,
all other things we are saying in the church is a joke.
Many people need to be completely broken and transformed. When that
transformation comes upon their lives, several things will happen. They would
no longer be interested in claiming their right all the time. They will not get
provoked. They will not fight or beat up people. They will shun evil because
something has happened to their lives.
The devil would always say, “Compromise, just compromise. Don’t worry, this one is not too bad.” But immediately you do it,
he knows what would follow. This is why sometimes, God watches His people with
interest. He says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”
A long time ago, there was a poultry farmer who was said to have gone to
the mountain and there, he found the egg of an eagle. Eagle’s eggs take longer
time to hatch than those of a chicken. The man took the egg of the eagle and
put it together with the chicken’s to hatch. After sometime, they hatched and
the eaglet moved about with the chicks and was imitating the chicks’ ways of
life. The chicks were always looking up but the eaglet was always looking at
the ground. It picked stones and worms in the soil. Sometimes, it took shelter
under the mother hen. It was raised up like the chicks but it did not look like
them.
The farmer was observing the eaglet. One day, something happened. A
mother eagle flying above saw the eaglet behaving like the chicks. The mother
eaglet made a loud cry, which made the eaglet to look up for the first time.
For the first time, it heard a sound similar to its own. The mother eagle made
a second cry, and with that captured the eaglet’s attention. It dawned on the
eaglet that it did not belong where it was but up there. Then it started to try
to fly. The mother eagle made the third cry, which sent something into the
blood of the eaglet and it flew high into the sky and the farmer could not see
it again. What we are saying is that you either fly like an eagle or you become
a chick. To become a chick is a disaster because the hawk is there.
The natural man is like that eaglet, which was found where it did not
belong, stolen away by the devil. The brotherhood of darkness characterizes the
life of the natural man. What is brotherhood of darkness? It is sin, sickness
and death. The devil is not your master and he did not create you. But he has
incubated many people under the rule of darkness of this world. Man got to that
incubation stage because he decided to listen to the enemy.
You are hearing the cry of mother eagle now, saying you do not belong to
sin, sickness and death. So, come up to the high mountains where you belong,
where you will climb higher to God. But if you are still struggling with sin,
you have a hidden sin or you have to be persuaded not do certain things which
you are not supposed to be doing, then it is very sad.
Many people do not receive the fulness of God
before they die. And we know that there is no repentance in the grave. So, it
is a dangerous thing for you to come to the house of God where holiness is
preached and you are still living in sin. Then you want to make yourself a
ready meat for satan. That is why I said that you
should not belong to the chick. You are above that. The mother eagle is calling
now and you should fly up there. The Bible says, "They taht
wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings
like the eagle."
The psalmist says, “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not answer
my prayer.” He did not say if you are committing sin but mere regarding it in your, that is, meditating upon it, the Lord would not answer
you. Perhaps sin has paralyzed your spiritual life. You have been complaining,
“I don’t know why my problems are not solved. I don’t know why things are going
like this?” But the Lord is saying, “Get away from under the hen and move up to
your mother eagle. Fly above.” Why should a flying eagle become a chick? The
devil deceives people into looking for trouble and then kills them there. Think
about it. Talk to the Lord and to yourself. Ask yourself: “Do I have any secret
sin? Am I a hypocrite? Do I put up a different picture in the church and
another one at home? Am I faithful to what I am doing? Am I faithful to my
husband, wife, or children? Am I honestly saying that I have defeated the
devil? Can I honestly say that if I am provoked I will not fight?” These
questions would help us to examine ourselves.
PRAYER POINTS
1. I don’t want to be a lower eagle. I don’t want to be a chick under a
satanic hen. I do not want to listen to any satanic sermon, in Jesus’ name.
2. Heal me Lord and I shall be healed, save me Lord and I shall be
saved, in the name of Jesus.
3. Every power delegated to kill my potential, die by fire, in the
name of Jesus.
4. O Lord, anchor my head to my breakthrough, in the name of Jesus.
5. Every spirit of Haman delegated against me, fight against
yourself, in Jesus’ name.
6. Every satanic consultant delegated against me, fall down and
die, in the name of Jesus.
7. Let the rod prepared against me by the enemy be the burial
ground of the enemy, in the name of Jesus.
8. Every personal Goliath and Jericho, fall down and die, in the name of
Jesus
